HISTORY OF OUR HOTEL

Our establishment has a history of more than 100 years.

A simple station café, it was bought by a Parisian couple in 1902 to become a guesthouse that welcomed travelers in transit. It never closed and even withstood the great floods of 1910 by welcoming its customers by barge.

Thanks to the owners' vision for the future, the hotel quickly became a comfortable and modern establishment, one of the first Parisian hotels to have central heating. Between the two world wars, the hotel experienced its golden age and became very popular in the Gare de Lyon area.

In 1952, the owners sold the hotel, thus ending its first quarter of life, which still has a unique atmosphere today.
